After the first day’s focus on indoor adaptability, the sun came out for Day 2 of the European Robotics League (ERL) 2026 in Scheveningen.
Yesterday, we moved from the indoor controlled environment directly onto the Pier, the Boulevard, and into the Dunes. This is where the real challenge begins: validating how these autonomous systems handle high-glare sunlight, shifting sands, and the unpredictable nature of a busy public coastline.
